Review of Rewardia Paid Survey Site

Rewardia is an Aussie reward site that pays its users for different tasks such as answering surveys and downloading games. In addition to Australia, members can also register from the US, Canada and New Zealand.  We’ve tested the different earning methods on Rewardia to see if it’s worth the time.

How much can I make?

On Rewardia, you can earn points by taking surveys and other online activities. Each point is worth $0.001, and the amount you can earn depends on your current activity level. Once you’ve reached 5,000 virtual points, you can redeem your first gift card worth $5. You can also get bonus points by watching videos and playing games. Although these activities pay less than surveys, they are more fun, and you can earn extra points. If you want to redeem in cash through your bank account, the redemption level is as much as 50,000 points or $50. Since regular surveys only pay around 100 points, you must take 500 (!) surveys to redeem them in cash. Only the most hard-core survey takers are likely to be able to redeem at this level.

Lack of information

For new potential members looking for information on Rewardia’s website, it’s very little information to be found. We wish there would be a lot more transparency in terms of payment methods and redemption choices. All the info is kept very generic, making it impossible for a new user to understand if it’s worth the time to sign up. Also, there is very little information about the company behind the site.

How does Rewardia stack up to other sites?

Considering the low payout per survey and the high redemption threshold for cash, there are plenty of much better survey sites out there. Even the most professional survey takers will have difficulty making money from this site. And when you’re eventually ready to redeem, you can expect a huge delay—definitely a site to avoid.

Third-party survey offers

Rewardia is not a typical survey site that creates its surveys and pays you directly for completing them. Instead, it is a platform that aggregates survey offers from various market research firms, such as Nielsen, Kantar and Ipsos. This means that when you click on a survey on Rewardia, you will be redirected to a third-party website where you will have to complete the survey and earn points or rewards.

The advantage of this approach is that you will have access to a large variety of surveys on different topics and from different sources. You will never run out of surveys to take, as Rewardia constantly updates its offers with new ones. You will also have the opportunity to learn about different products, services and trends from reputable market research companies.

However, there are also some drawbacks that you should be aware of. First of all, when you take surveys from third-party websites, you will be subject to their terms and conditions and privacy policies. This means that they might collect information about you that could be considered personally identifiable, such as your date of birth and postal code. Normally, your contact information like name and phone number will not be passed to the third party company, but you should still read their privacy policy carefully before taking any survey.

Another potential downside of taking third-party surveys is that they are not always well-matched with your demographics, leading to many disqualifications. You might spend a lot of time answering screening questions only to find out that you are not eligible for the survey. This can be frustrating and time-consuming, and reduce your earnings potential.

Is Rewardia legit?

We wouldn’t call Rewardia a scam since they are not stealing money from your bank account. However, it’s quite clear that they are making it deliberately difficult for their users to redeem rewards. While you eventually might get paid if you are persistent enough, it’s so difficult that most users will give up in the process. By making it sound simple to earn money on the sign-up page, users willingly register, thinking it’s enough to take a couple of surveys to get paid. In reality, you’ll need to spend weeks and months before you’ve accumulated enough virtual points to get your hard-earned reward. Our advice: Check out other better-paid reward sites on HuginX.

Disclosure – How we make money

We built HuginX around our core principles of openness, honesty and transparency. Your trust is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we’ll always be straight-up about how we review sites.

When it comes to running our website, we want to be entirely upfront about how we operate, how we make money, and how we keep the site a free resource for our millions of visitors. We don’t accept payment to provide positive reviews, and providers will never have a say in how we choose the best sites. Our aim is to put you, the reader, first and foremost at all times.

A list of practices we never engage in:

  1. We will never accept money to review a product
  2. We will never accept money to change a product review
  3. We will never accept money to turn a blind eye to an issue or flaw
  4. We will never accept money to bias our research or investigations

So, how do we make money? We receive fees from some of the sites we refer subscribers to. These fees are also known as affiliate commissions. When you click on a link or a button that takes you to a provider’s website such as a survey site, we may receive compensation for having referred a new sign-up.

Referral fees are only negotiated after we’ve fully conducted our review, meaning that money plays no factor in the process. Referral fees do not impact our review ratings and recommendations. The compensation we receive may, however, influence how, where, and in what order products appear in our paid search comparison pages, which are separate from our editorial content. These contain ad listings, and can only be accessed via search engine advertisements.
