One of the UK’s longest-running consumer communities, PanelBase is an online research panel that rewards members for participating in market research surveys. It was launched in 2005 as part of the market research agency called Dipstick Research which started its operation in 1997. PanelBase offers its members a wide range of survey opportunities in return for cash rewards which are paid out through bank transfer (BACS).

How to get started
To become a member, you must be from the UK, and 16 years old and above. The site will require your name, gender, email, address, and postcode. Upon completion of the registration page and verifying your registered email address, you are now an active PanelBase research community member and can start earning rewards for giving your opinion on a range of subject matter. £3 is added to your account as a reward for completing the registration process.
What about the survey experience?
When you receive an email notification telling you that there is a survey available, PanelBase tells you which platform you can complete it. The vast majority will be from a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. In order to qualify for more surveys, you have to fill out your profile with all the information needed. It’s a lengthy process but PanelBase needs it to properly match you with their surveys.
How much can you make on PanelBase?
For every survey you complete, you will be rewarded usually between £0.25 to £10, but it will depend on the survey duration and complexity. The redemption threshold is £10 when you can withdraw your rewards. Payments may be direct to your bank account, high-street vouchers, or you can donate it to charity. Some of the surveys offer entry into prize draws where you can win £100 shopping vouchers or an Amazon Kindle Fire. PanelBase is said to be one of the best-paying sites around, where you can earn as much as £6 – £7 per hour. When you register, you will automatically be given £3 in your account.
What can prevent me from cashing out?
If you are unable to accumulate enough credits, then you cannot cash out. Make sure that you are always attentive and honest when taking surveys. Only one account is allowed per person, so if you attempt to create several accounts to earn more money, this will be regarded as fraudulent which means you are banned and will lose all the money you have already accumulated in your account.
