IdeaShifters is a panel site operated by the market research provider Paradigm Sample. It’s a classic panel where you get paid in virtual currency in return for your contribution to market research projects, primarily online surveys. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can exchange our virtual points for a real reward.

Is it worth signing up?

A minimum redemption level of $10 is what you can expect from an average panel site today. In terms of payment per survey, you can expect 1-5 points, which equals to $0.10 – $0.50 in rewards. This means you’ll need to take at least 20 surveys until you’re able to enjoy your hard-earned reward. Also, keep in mind that you’ll get screened out of a lot of surveys, which means wasted time without getting paid. In our experience when taking surveys on IdeaShifters as much as two-thirds of all survey attempts ended in failure. Meaning, we did not fit the screening criteria of the survey.
