e-Rewards Review

e-Rewards, also known as e-Rewards Opinion Panel, is a market research firm that pays participants to take paid surveys and share their thoughts and opinions online. It is an invitation-only rewards community. e-Rewards was founded in 1999 and is considered one of the older survey sites available today.

Dynata owns it, a significant player providing first-party data representing the voice of individuals to inform the B2C and B2B dialogue.

Is e-Rewards a legit survey site?

Yes, e-Rewards is a genuine website. You can take surveys and earn money if invited to become a member. This website collaborates with major brands such as Best Buy and Twitter, who are willing to spend money in exchange for your opinions and feedback to help improve their products and services.

Data Privacy: Any reason for concern?

According to the e-Rewards website, it employs cutting-edge data security technology to ensure that your personal information is always kept secure. It may share your data with third parties for audience measurement reporting on the content, advertisements, campaigns, and websites you visit view, and/or click on. However, it will be in a single or aggregate summary form.

How to get started

e-Rewards is an invitation-only rewards community, meaning you can only join if you receive an invitation. There is no direct way to get invited to e-Rewards. You need to share your email with a partner company of theirs. Once asked, you will be welcomed with no fees to pay. The e-Rewards registration is simple and easy. Just click on the verification link, which you can access through email. Create a profile by adding your name, birthdate, address, and other personal information. Then, complete the enrolment surveys within 30 days.

To be eligible, you need to be 13 years old and above and a resident of the United States.

What about the survey experience?

Once you join the platform, it will match you with various surveys that reflect your interests and demographic. Although some surveys are given to the public, most high-quality ones are delivered directly to members via email notification or through your account. You are given up to 30 days to complete each survey. If you don’t meet the study within the timeframe, it will expire, and the platform will assign it to another member. Once you finish the survey, you will earn opinion points.

Customer support is available in your e-Rewards account. You can make a request online or by emailing [email protected]. A helpful FAQ section on their website should answer most of your user experience-related questions.

How much can you make on e-Rewards?

Members earn e-Rewards opinion points. Typically, you earn 500 points, equivalent to $5 per completed survey. There is no cash payment, so you redeem your compensation for gift cards and other rewards. You need at least $12 or more to redeem, but some gift cards allow as low as $10 as the smallest payout threshold.

You can redeem your points for e-Gift cards, which should arrive within 1 to 2 hours, or physical gift cards, which should arrive within 4 to 6 weeks. However, your daily limit on the redemption points is limited to two redemptions per 24-hour period. e-Rewards now need mobile or landline verification when redeeming points. They will send you a code for redemption to ensure your account is secure.

What can prevent me from cashing out?

Answer surveys as honestly as possible. The more precise information you provide, the better surveys the site can match you with. The site will not match you properly if you give insufficient or vague information, and they may disqualify you. You are only allowed one account. If you try to create multiple accounts in the hope of earning more rewards, the site will consider this fraud and may have you banned, and all points accumulated in your e-Rewards account will be lost.

On the positive side, the platform offers enticing join bonuses, eliminates minimum redemption thresholds, and provides a means to earn miles without spending money. However, consider potential drawbacks such as low compensation per survey, quick account suspensions, and extensive profiling questions. On the whole, however, we do recommend signing up for this platform if you're an eager MileagePlus collector.
