DailyRewards Review

DailyRewards is the Canadian version of the US reward platform InboxDollars. In addition to taking surveys, the site promises a range of other paid tasks such as signing up for trials and offers. This is our review after two months of testing all the different options to earn money online with DailyRewards.

Is DailyRewards a legit survey site?

Yes, DailyRewards is a legit survey site. DailyRewards is owned by a company called Prodege which is based in El Segundo, California. The company develops consumer rewards and survey communities under various brands such as InboxDollars, Swagbucks and ySense with the goal of attracting potential survey takers. The company has been around since 2005 and has become an increasingly important provider of market research data in North America, supplying many of the largest insights firms with market research participants.

In an era where the digital landscape offers countless opportunities to earn rewards and incentives, DailyRewards emerges as a prominent player in the realm of online reward sites. Operating under the ownership of Prodege, this platform allows users to accumulate points by engaging in various paid tasks, including surveys, offers, trials, downloads, games, and even cashback programs. Behind the scenes, Prodege capitalizes on the valuable market research data generated by its users, forming the foundation of its business model.

What’s the concept?

By signing up on the platform, users gain access to a wide range of tasks and activities, each offering points that can be later redeemed for cash or gift cards. DailyRewards’ intuitive interface and user-friendly design ensure that users can easily navigate through the available options and start accumulating points from day one.

Prodege, the parent company behind DailyRewards, has strategically built its business model around access to market research participants. While users actively participate in surveys, offers, and trials, they contribute to a massive pool of data that Prodege harnesses. This valuable information is then anonymized and sold to clients, including market research firms, advertisers, and businesses seeking to make data-driven decisions.

To illustrate the scope of Prodege’s market research capabilities, let’s consider two concrete random examples of typical target groups and subjects for consumer surveys:

  • Millennials and Sustainable Fashion: In response to the growing concern for sustainable practices, Prodege might conduct a survey targeting millennials to gain insights into their preferences and behaviors regarding sustainable fashion. The survey could explore their purchasing habits, willingness to pay a premium for eco-friendly products, and factors influencing their decision-making process. The data collected would provide businesses in the fashion industry with valuable information to align their strategies with the evolving needs of environmentally conscious millennials.
  • Pet Owners and Online Shopping: Another example could involve conducting a survey aimed at pet owners who frequently shop online for pet supplies. By gathering data on their preferred platforms, purchasing patterns, and factors influencing their decision-making, Prodege can provide e-commerce platforms and pet product manufacturers with key insights into the preferences and habits of this specific consumer group. Armed with this information, businesses can tailor their marketing campaigns and improve their offerings to better serve the needs of pet owners in the online shopping space.

Data Privacy: Any reason for concern?

The community owner Prodege is a member of the industry body ESOMAR, which means they adhere to their codes of conduct when treating respondents. In Canada, data privacy is primarily regulated by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). PIPEDA sets out rules for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information by private sector organizations in Canada. As a professional market provider, it is safe to assume that Prodege will respect these regulations to avoid the risk of getting fined for breaching privacy regulations.

How to get started

Their registration process is very easy. Fill out a short form, then just check your email and click the confirmation link in the email they sent, and you are ready to start earning rewards. What about the survey experience?

There is no DailyRewards app you can download on your mobile device. But, you will be able to access their website on a mobile device using a mobile web browser. The mobile version of their site is optimized for mobile use, so you will be able to view content properly without having to scroll left and right or zoom in and out.

Once you finish the registration process, you can log in to the member dashboard and view all the cash offers available. Normally, it will either ask you to complete a survey, register to a site, watch a video, try out a product or service, or really do anything that the offer will ask you. Usually, the rewards you will get for each offer will depend on the type of activity you will have to do.

DailyRewards does have a pretty decent support system for its members. To access the support page, you just have to log in to the member dashboard and click the Support tab in the upper right-hand corner. They also have a Facebook page you can visit, which is pretty active. So, if you wish to talk to them via that platform, you can do so.

How much can you make on DailyRewards?

DailyRewards doesn’t use a point system like some other reward sites, but will instead quote your earnings in Canadian Dollars. This is convenient, as you don’t need to make any complicated calculations to understand the true value of what you’re doing on the site.

DailyRewards states that you can earn between $0.50 and $3.00 per survey completed, but the average will be closer to $0.60. When you reach the minimum amount of $30, you cash out via PayPal. Make sure that you have an active and valid PayPal account matching your profile information, as this is the only way you can receive your earnings. When your friends join DailyRewards using your link, they earn $5 on sign-up, and you also earn an equivalent of 10% of their earnings every month.

Other ways of earning from DailyRewards include joining partner-paid survey sites with rewards ranging from 10 cents to $100, playing games, watching videos, and reading emails.

Summary – Pros and Cons of DailyRewards

On the positive side, DailyRewards offers several appealing features:

Cash Payments: DailyRewards provides users with the option to receive cash payments in exchange for completing tasks. This feature sets it apart from platforms that solely offer gift cards, providing users with greater flexibility and financial rewards.

Join Bonus: As an incentive to attract new users, DailyRewards often offers a join bonus. This immediate reward upon sign-up can be an enticing motivator for those looking to start earning rewards right away.

Varied Earning Opportunities: The platform offers a diverse range of tasks, including surveys, offers, trials, downloads, games, and cashback options. This variety provides users with multiple avenues to accumulate points and earn rewards based on their personal preferences and skills.

Several Gift Card Options: In addition to cash payments, DailyRewards offers users the option to redeem their points for a wide selection of gift cards from popular retailers. This variety allows users to choose rewards that align with their interests and needs.

However, it is important to consider the negative aspects of DailyRewards:

High Payout Threshold: One significant drawback is the high payout threshold required before users can cash out their earnings. This means that users must accumulate a considerable number of points before they can access their rewards, which can be frustrating and time-consuming.

Low Compensation: Users often find that the compensation for completing tasks on DailyRewards is relatively low compared to the time and effort invested. While some tasks may offer decent rewards, others may provide minimal compensation, making it challenging to earn a substantial amount.

Difficulty in Qualifying: Many users report experiencing difficulties in qualifying for surveys or other tasks. They often encounter pre-screening questions that lead to disqualification based on specific demographics or criteria. This can be frustrating and time-wasting, as users invest time in answering preliminary questions only to be disqualified without earning any rewards.
