CVS Advisory Panel Review
CVS Advisory Panel is a community of CVS Pharmacy customers who have volunteered to share opinions and feedback through online surveys. Only members of CVS Pharmacy’s loyalty scheme ExtraCare are eligible for participation.
What can I earn?
By taking surveys, you’ll get free ExtraBucks which will be available on the date specified in the survey initiation email. Self-printable ExtraBucks coupons will automatically be available immediately after you complete our surveys. ExtraBucks Rewards earned through the CVS ExtraCare program can be used towards most purchases made at CVS stores and online.
Here are a few examples of purchases you can make with your rewards:
- Beauty products
- Health and wellness products
- Personal care items
- Snacks and food
- Vitamins and supplements
- Over-the-counter medications
- Photo printing services
- And many more items are available in CVS stores.
Note: Some exclusions may apply, such as prescription medications, lottery tickets, money orders, and more. It’s best to check the terms and conditions of the program or ask a store associate for more information.
How does ExtraCare work?

How do I get started?
To become a member of the CVS Advisor Panel, you’ll need to fill out a short profile on the company’s website. The registration process typically takes 15 minutes. After registering, you will receive invitations to online surveys. By participating in these surveys, you can earn ExtraCare savings and rewards.
You’ll also help the company improve its products and services by completing the surveys. Although the number of surveys will vary, you can expect to receive a few per year. Some people never receive an invitation to participate in the program at all.
Is the CVS panel worth signing up for?
If you’re a loyal CVS customer, why not? As opposed to earning ExtraBucks by making purchases, you can earn by taking surveys without spending anything. The value of each survey is $2-$5 on average, which is considerably higher than standard consumer panels.
What’s the downside of signing up?
The panel website is quite dated and not very intuitive. Also, don’t expect a lot of survey opportunities to come your way. Since this is an exclusive CVS panel, you’ll receive much fewer survey invitations than a typical survey site inviting its members daily.
What we liked the most about the CVS Panel
What we like the most about the CVS panel is that most rewards are paid out instantaneously after filling out the surveys. As opposed to other survey sites, which might make it extremely difficult to get paid, CVS has made it simple. Well done, CVS!
