TheoremReach Review

TheoremReach is a survey network connecting users of apps and communities with insights firms, enabling them to earn rewards in real time for participating in market research. Note that you cannot sign up to TheoremReach as a survey participant – they are “just” the middleman between the market research company and the user. In this review, we’re taking a closer look at the user experience and quality of surveys offered through the TheoremReach portal.

Key competitors of TheoremReach include Pollfish, TapResearch, Peanutlabs (Dynata) and YourSurveys (Cint).  What these companies have in common is that they facilitate data collection through online surveys across a large number of communities. In this way, survey takers are flexible to take part in surveys without having to sign up for traditional panels such as OpinionWorld and Ipsos iSay.

Is TheoremReach legit?

Yes, this is a legit market research provider. However, note that TheoremReach is not a survey site. Instead, it acts as a gateway to third-party surveys that redirects you to online questionnaires. Once you have completed a study, you can collect rewards by simply logging in to the account which asked you to take the study in the first place. In this way, you’re not paid any reward directly by TheoremReach, but by the original app or site which prompted you to take the survey.

What’s the concept?

TheoremReach is a survey company that enables other apps and communities to offer surveys to their users, without the users having to sign up for a new site. To do this, they have developed a survey SDK that can be integrated into other apps, allowing publishers to easily add survey functionality to their own apps.

Developers can access the survey SDK through TheoremReach’s developer portal, where they can download the SDK and access documentation and support resources. Once the SDK is integrated into an app, users can complete surveys and earn rewards without leaving the app, providing a seamless user experience.

The survey SDK includes all the necessary components for displaying surveys to users, such as survey questions, response options, and user interface elements. When users complete a survey, the survey responses are collected and sent back to Theorem for analysis and reporting.

In this way, Theorem connects thousands of buyers of market research on one side with millions of users willing to participate in research on the other side. It’s a great concept, but the process is not always as efficient as it sounds. Especially when it comes to matching research projects with users.

Efficient, but not very precise

Offering surveys through other apps via an SDK allows survey companies to efficiently reach a larger and more diverse audience than through traditional panels. By partnering with popular apps, survey companies can access the app’s user base and offer surveys to a wider range of people. This can lead to higher response rates and more representative samples.

However, this setup may not always be precise when it comes to matching surveys with research participants. The survey company does not have control over the selection criteria used by the app developers, which means it’s difficult to target specific target audiences. This can lead to surveys being offered to users who may not be the best fit for the survey, which can result in lower qualification rates and frustrated survey takers.

When it comes to highly targeted surveys which require survey takers with a very specific profile, traditional double-opted panels are often more efficient. From this perspective, signing up for a traditional consumer panel could result in a higher qualification rate and higher rewards based on time spent.
