Qmee Review

We recently signed up for Qmee, one of the popular rewards sites that offer cash payments to users for completing surveys and other tasks. In this review, we’ll share our experience from 12 weeks of testing, highlighting both its positive aspects and its drawbacks.

Is Qmee a legit reward site?

Qmee is a legit reward site which was acquired by Kantar in 2022, a well-respected market research company that has been in business for over 90 years. Kantar has a strong reputation for providing valuable insights to businesses and brands, and Qmee is an extension of this commitment to gathering data on consumer behaviour.

Another reason why this is a legit reward site is that it operates on a transparent model, clearly outlining the reward system and the value of each task. This allows users to make informed decisions about which tasks to complete and how to maximize their earnings. Additionally, Qmee has a simple interface that is easy to use, making it accessible to a wide range of users.

What’s the concept?

Qmee is a rewards site that allows users to earn points by completing paid tasks such as surveys, offers, trials, downloads, and games, and even getting cashback on shopping. The platform’s business model is based on selling market research data to clients of its parent company, the market research giant Kantar.

As a leading market research company, Kantar helps brands and businesses make informed decisions by gathering consumer insights through surveys and other research methods. Qmee, as part of Kantar’s portfolio, offers users the opportunity to earn points by participating in surveys and other tasks, while also collecting valuable data on consumer behaviour and preferences.

Typical target groups for consumer surveys on Qmee may include individuals in specific age ranges, income brackets, or geographic locations, depending on the needs of the client. For example, a client may be interested in gathering data on the purchasing habits of young adults between the ages of 18 and 24, or on the attitudes of consumers living in urban areas towards sustainable products.

What about the survey experience?

You can use Qmee through your web browser, download the app (Android/iOS) and install the Chrome browser extension. In this way, Qmee is really versatile and easy for most users to access on multiple devices.

On your Qmee dashboard, there will be a “Surveys” tab with an opt-in survey. The surveys you’ll find there are from third-party providers, which means you’ll have access to them on Qmee but will be directed to another site to complete them. This provides you with the advantage of having access to a large number of survey opportunities. However, survey providers can be very specific about who they want to respond to their surveys, and getting declined is part of the game when singing up for survey sites.

Just like other reward sites, you’ll be able to “earn” money by downloading and playing mobile games and signing up for casino sites.

How much can you make on Qmee?

While signing up for Qmee, we were curious to explore the rewards available to users. Qmee offers a range of rewards, including cash payments through PayPal and gift cards to popular retailers. However, upon closer inspection, we found that the rewards available may not be as lucrative as they initially appear.

One positive aspect of Qmee is that there is no minimum redemption level, allowing users to cash out their rewards at any time. However, in our experience the average points per survey is just 45, with each point worth €0.01. This means that on average, each survey is worth only €0.45. This may not seem like a significant amount, especially considering the amount of time and effort required to complete a survey.

The availability of surveys can also be very limited, with users frequently screened out or unable to qualify for certain surveys. This can be frustrating for users who are looking to earn rewards consistently.

While gift cards to popular retailers may be appealing to some users, it’s worth noting that these gift cards may be limited to specific regions or countries. This can limit the flexibility of the rewards available, making them less appealing to users outside of those regions.

Summary: Pros and Cons

Qmee is a rewards site that allows users to earn cash by completing surveys and several other activities. While there are certainly some positive aspects to this platform, there are also some notable drawbacks that potential users should be aware of.

One of the main benefits of using this reward site is that the platform offers cash payments for completing tasks. This is in contrast to many other rewards sites that offer points or gift cards as rewards, which can be less appealing to some users. Additionally, Qmee has a transparent reward system that clearly outlines how much each task is worth and how long it will take to complete.

Another positive aspect of this site is that it is mobile-friendly, which means that users can easily access the platform and complete tasks on their smartphones or tablets. Additionally, Qmee has a simple interface that is easy to navigate, which can be helpful for users who may be new to rewards sites or who prefer a straightforward user experience.

However, there are also several drawbacks to using Qmee that potential users should be aware of. One of the main issues is that there is no reward for being disqualified from a survey, which can be frustrating for users who spend time answering screening questions only to find out that they do not qualify for the survey. Additionally, qualifying for surveys on this reward site can be difficult, and users may find that they are frequently screened out of surveys.

qmee refusal

Another drawback to using this site is that the payouts for completing tasks can be relatively low. While the platform does offer cash payments, these payments may not be as high as what users can earn on other rewards sites or through other means of earning money online. Additionally, some users may find that the effort required to complete tasks on Qmee is not worth the amount of money that they are able to earn.
